Financial Support

Each person should do as he has decided in his heart - not out of regret or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything we need, you may excel in every good work."

2 Corinthians 9:7-8

How to support our work

As we seek to CARE as Christ cared; to GROW more like Christ; and to SHARE as Christ shared, we need resources to maintain existing and to develop new ministries.

Everything we do - on Sunday and throughout the week - relies on the commitment and support of our church family. Providing pastoral support; working with young people at Sunday School and Youth Fellowship; keeping our buildings warm, dry and insured; and running ministries which reach out to the youngest and the oldest in our community - all this work is only possible when individuals are willing to give of their time, talents, as well as offering financial support.

Giving Regularly

The most effective way to support church is to give regularly by Standing Order. It's easy for you; it reduces administration costs; and having an income we can count on allows us to budget efficiently. You can download a Standing Order form here, and completed forms should be given directly to your bank.

Reaching out to a world in need

Reaching out beyond our walls, we support mission partnerships that connect us to a world in need. We believe that the biblical example is a good place to start, so 10%  of our income supports mission agencies, with whom we are building long-term partnerships.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, please complete a Gift Aid form so that we can boost the value of your donation - at no cost to you - by claiming back the tax you have paid. For every pound you donate, we can claim 25p in Gift Aid. Please note that to qualify for Gift Aid you must pay UK income and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax reclaimed on your donations.

Download a form here and then please make sure we know that every gift you make is from you.

Confidentiality

All financial information is managed by the Treasurer; donations are always anonymous (unless the donor wishes to share the information), and are treated in absolute confidence.
