Tommy Silhouette unveiled

On Sunday afternoon, 1 July, to commemorate the first day of the 1916 Battle of the Somme, the Royal British Legion Women's Section of Hillsborough along with our very own Rev Bryan Follis held a short Service of Remembrance as we unveiled the Tommy Silhouette beside the War Memorial.  He has been given a home at the gates of the Church beside the World War 1 Museum which is open to the public on a Saturday all day, and a Sunday afternoon from 2pm-4pm.  All visitors are very welcome.
