We now live in a time when many people in our country seem to lack any sort of higher purpose or meaning in their life.

To mark the start of Lent tomorrow we are having a Day of Prayer and Fasting.  People are welcome to pray between the hours of 7am and 7pm in our Church, at home or while walking in the community.  Prayer points are available by clicking here.

Due to our Day of Prayer and Fasting tomorrow (Wednesday 26 February) our Chums and Crumbs has been cancelled and will take place next Wednesday 4 March from 5pm in our Downshire Centre.

On Sunday evening, Frank Dillon will host our Get Connected Service at 6:30pm in the Downshire Centre.
On Sunday morning, our 10:30am Worship Service will have a bit of a celebration feel about it. Firstly, Bryan Follis will conduct Holy Baptism for two babies as we celebrate and give thanks for these young lives.
This Sunday, 16 February is our Family Service.  Frank will be giving a short talk on summer camps for the young people and as always tea and coffee and donuts in the hall after.

Tonight at 8pm in our Barry Gallery we have our Hour of Prayer meeting.  Everyone very welcome

This Sunday, at our morning services, our Curate, Jonathan Brown will be talking about how God reaches out to us in the midst of the mess we often make to forgive, to love and to accept us.
A large number of parishioners have found our recent sermon series from the Psalms on anxiety, stress and depression very helpful and relevant to real life.
It used to be that depression was a subject no one liked to talk about and the illness had such a stigma that no one felt able to acknowledge that they were struggling with it.
